Hatha Yoga Asana increases physical awareness by refining the senses and distributing prana throughout the body. It includes static postures, dynamic movement and gentle vinyasa flows to build steadiness, flexibility and strength. Asana is grounded in the cultivation of effort through stability (Sthira), which allows for effortlessness through ease (Sukha).
Adaptations are made to support menstrual cycles, stages of trauma recovery, health conditions and limited mobility.
